Our Speaker

Kerry Clarensau, who taught our WM Symposium in January, is returning to Northern Missouri as our retreat speaker this year! Kerry is a speaker, mentor, and inspiring leader of women. She has served in ministry with her husband, Mike, for over 20 years. This includes a variety of ministry positions in the Kansas district, and as the National Girls Ministries director. Under her leadership, the current Girls Ministries program was developed in 1998. Kerry became the Leadership Development Coordinator for the National Women’s Department in 2007. From her home in Wichita, Kansas, Kerry is able to work as an independent contractor for the national office in Springfield, Missouri. Her compassion for people and love for God’s Word is evident as she speaks at women’s events nationwide, prepares training and discipleship materials, and creates Internet resources for ministry to women. Kerry’s honesty and wisdom have made her a well-loved contributor to publications such as Today’s Pentecostal Evangel, Leader’s Touch, WT Online, All About Mom/Insights for Mom, and Side By Side. Kerry is also the author of a Bible study for wives, Secrets: Transforming Your Life and Marriage (Gospel Publishing House, 2009). Kerry and Mike serve as pastors of a culturally diverse church, Maranatha Worship Center in Wichita, Kansas. There Kerry teaches an adult Sunday school class and oversees ministry to women. Her call to ministry and her position as pastor’s wife uniquely qualify her to address the issues that women in ministry encounter daily. Kerry and Mike have two sons, Tyler and Blake, and a daughter-in-law, Katie.
