About Us
The Northern Missouri District is one of 58 Assemblies of God districts throughout the country . Most of these districts are formed by geographical boundaries, some by ethnic groups of people.
The Northern Missouri District comprises a fellowship of 87 local Assemblies of God churches in the area called Northern Missouri . This area is bound on the north by the Iowa line, on the south by the Missouri River, on the east by the Illinois line, and on the west by the Kansas and Nebraska lines.
The District Offices are located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and serve as a resource center for the various churches and ministries of the district.
We believe very deeply both in the transformational power of Pentecost and that the local church is the hope of the world. It is our goal that the cross be at the center of all that we do as we network with our churches throughout Missouri. All of this rises from the foundation of Jesus Christ who was God's gift in the fullness of time. We await his return with eager expectation.
